SALM67 Ministries was founded by Dr. Shaun and Liên Miles after they felt the Lord calling them to establish a center for pastoral training in Vietnam. Incorporated in 2013 as an independent and self-funding religious organization, the mission at SALM67 Ministries is to train national pastors and church leaders to effectively preach and teach God’s Word and then work alongside them to extend the love of Jesus Christ into their surrounding communities.
Dr. Miles was born in Deland, Florida and gave his life to the Lord in 2002. That same year, he started a youth group and has served in ministry ever since. He served as the pastor of Northside Baptist Church in Deland from 2007 until he left for the mission field in 2012. In addition to managing the business operation of the church and overseeing the church staff, he was devoted to meeting the spiritual needs of his congregation through effective and encouraging worship. His heart was also to tend to the spiritual and physical needs of the surrounding community, opening the church kitchen and parish hall for meals and fellowship on a weekly basis. Dr. Miles obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Ministry, Master of Arts in Christian Studies, his Master of Divinity from Liberty University and his Doctorate in Ministry from Luther Rice College & Seminary.
Dr. Miles is president of SALM67 Ministries and oversees all the training at the three Bible Training Centers in Vietnam. He leads most of the training at the center in the south himself, in person when in country or via internet when state-side.

Liên was born and raised in Vietnam and comes from a family devoted to serving and leading the Vietnam Baptist Church. As a result, she has served with them in their ministry ever since she was a young girl. As Liên writes, "I was blessed to have been raised in the church since infancy and have come to know who God is through extensive study of His Word. I was baptized as a teenager and after I reached the decision to ask Him into my life as Lord and Savior, I fully understood my responsibility as a daughter of the King to be about the work of the kingdom, sharing with others His message of love for one another. “ Liên has worked extensively in ministry for her father, who is a pastor in Vietnam and for her grandfather who is also a pastor and very active in the church in Vietnam. She has also worked with a Korean missionary group who brought mission teams from all over the world to to serve in churches and communities across Vietnam.

Lien and Shaun met when Shaun was on a mission trip to Vietnam and were married in 2010. Shaun and Lien had been ministering together in Deland, when the Lord called them both back to Vietnam to spread the Gospel there. They have been working in Vietnam since 2013 and now are blessed with a family.
